ECF Voluntary - Modern Slavery Statement 2018
East Coast Fittings Ltd (ECF) is opposed to slavery and human trafficking in any part of our activities or our supply chain, in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We are therefore committed to ensuring that we have adequate policies and procedures in place to identify and prevent these practices.
Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act (2015) requires commercial organisations operating in the UK with an annual turnover in excess of £36m to produce a ‘slavery and human trafficking statement for each financial year of the organisation’. Although East Coast Fittings Limited (‘ECF’) is not of an organisational size that requires a Modern Slavery Statement to be published, its Board considers the matter so important that is has decided to issue a voluntary statement for year ending 31 December 2018.
