Trading with ECF

ECF is a trade only manufacturer of quality fitted furniture, sliding door systems and supplier of furniture hardware. ECF supplies Customers’ on the following basis.

ECF Standard Terms and Conditions

ECF processes Customer Orders subject solely to ECFs Standard Terms and Conditions to the exclusion of any other term and conditions offered by the Customer whether or not brought to the attention of ECF. ECFs Standard Terms and Conditions are available at www.ecf.co.

Trading via a trade account

Unless agreed in writing by an authorised ECF person, Customers purchase Products and Services using an ECF approved credit account. Credit account Customers receive regular invoices with payment due on the last day of the month following the date of the invoice.

In the event of default in any payment by the Customer the Company shall be entitled without prejudice to any other right or remedy to cancel a Contract or suspend any further deliveries on any Contract or Contracts between ECF and the Customer without notice.

Applying For a Trade Account

To apply for a Trade Account simply complete an ECF Trade Account Application Form that can be obtained from the Customer’s local ECF Territory Sales Manager, via our website (www.ecf.co), contacting Customer Services on 03330 032 000 or by emailing: help@ecf.co.

A completed and signed Trade Application Form along with the Customer’s company letterhead should be posted to Accounts Department (New Accounts), East Coast Fittings Ltd, Auster House, Rearsby Business Park, Gaddesby Lane Rearsby, Leicestershire, LE7 4YH.

Placing Orders

ECF takes orders through the following methods:

MyECF

ECFs eCommerce platform, accessible via www.ecf.co. With an ECF issued Password, MyECF offers 24 hours per day access for viewing and ordering Products/Services priced as per Customer’s pricing agreements with ECF. Orders submitted by MyECF are subject to MyECF Terms and Conditions.

Please note that all door and carcass orders must be sent via e-mail.

There is no minimum order value but please note that the order value can influence delivery charges.

The type of delivery/shipping service used may be changed by ECF based upon an assessment of consignment content, value, weight, customer direction on delivery requirements.

Returns

Products Received in Error, Faulty or Damaged

If within 7 (seven) days of delivery it is found that any Products bought from ECF have been delivered incorrectly or faulty/damaged these may be returned within 28 days for exchange provided that the Products are returned to ECF in their original condition including all wrapping and packaging.

Simple steps for returning items to ECF:

  • 1. Ensure the respective Delivery Note and Order Number is at hand
  • 2. Call the ECF collections team on 01664 424288 or email collections@ecf.co
  • 3. Follow the simple instructions given by the ECF customer advisor. ECF will confirm all instructions via email or fax.

Note:

  • If Doors are received damaged or faulty you will need to supply a digital photograph of the image and the quality control number found on the back of the respective door.
  • Products received back without authorisation will be refused.

Unwanted Products

ECF does not accept the return of any unwanted Products (stock items, made to measure and special order items) ordered from ECF.

ECF Territory Sales Managers ARE NOT permitted to accept Products for return.

Payment Options

ECF will accept payments by BACS, cheque and credit/debit card.

The ECF Trade Account Number should be used as the payment reference on all BACS payments.

Cheque

Cheques should be made payable to East Coast Fittings Limited and forwarded to the Accounts Department, East Coast Fittings Limited, Auster House, Rearsby Business Park, Gaddesby Lane Rearsby, Leicestershire, LE7 4YH.

Please indicate on the back of a cheque the ECF Trade Account Number and respective ECF Invoice Number/s to which the payment relates.

Credit/Debit Card

ECF accepts VISA, VISA Debit, Mastercard, Solo and Maestro card payments. ECF does not accept payments by American Express.

Trouble Paying Invoices/s

ECF understands and will exercise our statutory rights to interest and compensation for debt recovery under late payment legislation if ECF is not paid according to agreed credit terms.

However, if a Customer is having trouble meeting their payments, please contact Accounts. ECF is easy to talk to, and the last thing ECF wants to do is to leave Customers’ without Service.
